AIKEN, S.C. – The Hutson-Etherredge Companies and Auto-Owners Insurance USC Aiken Student-Athlete of the Week is golf standout Erik Olin.

Olin, a native of Falsterbo, Sweden, had an outstanding tournament at the Tennessee River Rumble.

He posted a second-place finish after shooting two-under par, 214, for the 54-hole event.

On the par-72, 7,065-yard course, Olin registered scores of 76-64-74. His second-round 64 marked the lowest round of the entire tournament.

The 64 was the lowest round by three strokes for the second-best score of the event.

Olin's solid performance helped the Pacers to a fifth-place finish at the highly competitive event.

The second-place finish marked his third top-10 effort of the season – and the best performance of his career.

The Hutson-Etherredge Companies and Auto-Owners Insurance USC Aiken Athletic Department Student-Athlete of the Week honors one student-athlete each week from an in-season sport for their hard work and effort.
