AIKEN, S.C. – The Hutson-Etherredge Companies and Auto-Owners Insurance USC Aiken Student-Athlete of the Week is men's basketball standout Tyler Johnson.

Johnson, a native of Athens, Ga., guided the Pacers to a 2-0 week and the PBC regular-season championship.

At nationally-ranked North Georgia, he turned in a 25-point, 10-rebound, five-assist performance in 36 minutes of work. Johnson hit nine-of-17 from the floor, including five-of-nine from downtown.

In the regular-season finale against Lander, Johnson added 11 points and eight rebounds in 30 minutes.

For the week, he averaged 18 points and nine boards to go along with 3.5 assists and two steals.  

Johnson's effort helped the Pacers claim the PBC regular-season championship for the second consecutive season.
