AIKEN, S.C. – The Hutson-Etherredge Companies and Auto-Owners Insurance USC Aiken Student-Athlete of the Week is men's basketball standout Tyler Johnson.

Johnson, a native of Athens, Ga., led the Pacers to a 1-1 week.

In the win at USC Beaufort, Johnson erupted for a career-high 34 points on 12-of-18 shooting from the floor, including three-of-five from downtown. He made seven-of-nine from the charity stripe in the win.

Johnson pulled down a career-high 13 rebounds for a double-double. He also added four assists and a steal.

Against Clayton State, Johnson scored 16 points on five-of-11 shooting from the field. He grabbed three rebounds and had a pair of assists to go along with a steal.

For the week, Johnson made 17-of-29 from the field, including four-of-nine from downtown. He made 12-of-14 from the foul line and averaged 25 points to go along with eight rebounds a game.
