AIKEN, S.C. - University of South Carolina Aiken golf standout Erik Olin has been named the Hutson-Etherredge Companies and Auto-Owners Insurance USC Aiken Athletic Department Student-Athlete of the Week for the week ending Oct. 15, 2022.

Olin, a native of Falsterbo, Sweden, helped USC Aiken to a fourth-place finish at the Irish Creek Invitational.

Olin registered a third-place finish at the event. He posted scores of 69-71-70 to shoot three-under par, 210.

His round of 69 was a season low. Olin has shot par or better in five of his six rounds on the season.

He leads the team with a 70.8 stroke average.

The Hutson-Etherredge Companies and Auto-Owners Insurance USC Aiken Athletic Department Student-Athlete of the Week honors one student-athlete each week from an in-season sport for their hard work and effort.
