AIKEN, S.C. - University of South Carolina Aiken golf standout Björn Rosengren has been named the Hutson-Etherredge Companies and Auto-Owners Insurance USC Aiken Athletic Department Student-Athlete of the Week for the week ending October 11, 2020.

Rosengren, a sophomore from Halmstad, Sweden, guided the Pacers to the Camden Collegiate title.

He won the event by shooting three-under par, 207. Rosengren shot scores of 72-63-72, besting Leo Johansson by two strokes.

Rosengren’s second-round 63 established a school record for lowest round. The 63 also tied the PBC all-time lowest round.

Rosengren’s efforts helped the Pacers claim their 89^th tournament title since the 1992-93 season.

The Hutson-Etherredge Companies and Auto-Owners Insurance USC Aiken Athletic Department Student-Athlete of the Week honors one student-athlete each week from an in-season sport for their hard work and effort.
