AIKEN, S.C. - University of South Carolina Aiken men’s basketball standout Shaquan Jules has been named the Hutson-Etherredge Companies and Auto-Owners Insurance USC Aiken Athletic Department Student-Athlete of the Week for the week ending Dec. 1, 2019.

Jules, a sophomore from Orlando, Fla., guided the Pacers to a 1-0 week.

He accounted for a double-double with 12 points and 11 rebounds in the win over Paine.

Jules hit all five of his shots from the floor and hit a pair of charity tosses for his 12 points. On the glass, Jules pulled down one offensive rebound and cleaned 10 boards off the defensive glass.

For good measure, he blocked a shot in 27 minutes of action.

The Hutson-Etherredge Companies and Auto-Owners Insurance USC Aiken Athletic Department Student-Athlete of the Week honors one student-athlete each week from an in-season sport for their hard work and effort.
