University of South Carolina Aiken softball standout Hannah Price has been named the Hutson-Etherredge Companies and Auto-Owners Insurance USC Aiken Athletic Department Student-Athlete of the Week for the week ending Feb. 4, 2018.

Price is a junior from Seneca, S.C.

The junior pitcher and first baseman led the Pacers to a 2-0 week. She posted a PBC-best 1.000 batting average after going six-for-six at the plate.

In the opening game of the season, Price went three-for-three with a double and scored a run in the 4-0 victory over Converse. In the second game of the doubleheader, she went three-for-three with a grand slam, five RBI, two runs scored and a walk in the 16-4 win.

For the week, Price drove in five runs, scored three times and had two extra-base hits. She is currently slugging 1.667 and sports a 1.000 on-base percentage.

The Hutson-Etherredge Companies and Auto-Owners Insurance USC Aiken Athletic Department Student-Athlete of the Week honors one student-athlete each week from an in-season sport for their hard work and effort.
