AIKEN, S.C. – The USCA baseball team scored two runs in the 10
th inning for a 3-2 come-from-behind victory over Georgia Southwestern Friday evening.
The Pacers are now 17-7 on the season, including 7-3 in PBC play. The Hurricanes stand at 14-10 overall, including 7-3 in league action.

Yariel Diaz record a two-out single in the top of the first, but he was left stranded.
Johann Rodriguez posted a one-out base knock to right center field in the second, but back-to-back pop-ups ended the frame.
Blake Martin reached on a fielder's choice in the fourth and hustled to second on a failed pick-off, but USCA was unable to get the ball out of the infield in the inning.
The Hurricanes scored a run in the top of the sixth for a 1-0 lead. Gorman's squad quickly responded in the bottom of the stanza.
Evan Harding took the first pitch and belted it into center field. Two batters later,
Yariel Diaz singled, putting two on. Martin's base knock up the middle and plated Harding, knotting it at 1-1.
In the bottom of the ninth,
Salvatore Laimo was hit by a pitch. He was erased on a fielder's choice, but
Johann Rodriguez remained on first base.
Donovan Glisson picked up his first hit of the game with a two-out single, putting runners on first and second. However, a fly ball ended the ninth.

th,
Evan Harding recorded a one-out single to center field, but he was erased on a fielder's choice by
Chancellor Jennings. Diaz singled to left field, putting two on. Martin rocketed a base knock to right field, which allowed Jennings to score. Laimo hit a ground ball to second, but a fielding error allowed Diaz to score, giving the Pacers the win.
For the game, Diaz posted three hits and scored. Harding had two hits and scored a run. Martin tallied two hits and scored twice. Glisson and Rodriguez each had hits while Jennings scored a run.
On the mound,
Joseph Rauscher got the start and worked 6.1 innings. He gave up one run on four hits and had 10 strikeouts.
CJ Lincoln worked 3.2 frames and had five strikeouts to pick up the win.
