AIKEN, S.C. – The Hutson-Etherredge Companies and Auto-Owners Insurance USCA Student-Athlete of the Week is women's basketball standout Monique Emelifeonwu.

A native of Canberra, Australia, Emelifeonwu guided the Pacers to a 1-1 week.

Against No. 19 Columbus State, she grabbed seven rebounds and swatted three shots in 34 minutes of work. Emelifeonwu also dished out four assists and recorded a steal.

In the win over Georgia College, she erupted for a 17-point, 11-rebound double-double effort. Emelifeonwu hit five-of-12 from the floor, including two-of-six from the three-point line. She hit five-of-six from the charity stripe.

Emelifeonwu swatted six shots, dished out three assists and had three steals.
