DAHLONEGA, Ga. – The USCA men's soccer team lost a 6-0 decision at North Georgia Saturday afternoon in PBC play.
The Pacers are now 3-3-1 on the season, including 1-2 in PBC play.
Head coach
Nick Sakiewicz's team trailed 1-0 at the break before the Nighthawks tacked on five second-half scores.
USCA had a pair of shots on goal in the early going as
Melvin Maboungou and
Frankie Martinez each had attempts to the left side of the frame stopped by the keeper.
Kenny Kwizera Jr.'s shot late in the first half missed high of the goal.
Early in the second stanza,
Cheikh Atamao and Martinez posted shots, but each missed high of the crossbar.
For the match, USCA posted six shots, including three on frame.
Martinez led the way with two shots, including one on target. Samuel Mitchel also notched a shot on goal.
Felipe Mattos played all 90 minutes between the pipes and stopped seven shots in the loss.
