GREENWOOD, S.C. – The USCA men's soccer team played to a 1-1 draw at Lander Wednesday evening.
The Pacers are now 3-3-2 on the season, including 1-2-1 in PBC play.

Nick Sakiewicz's team fell behind 1-0 in the 28
th minute off a header and the Bearcats maintained the advantage the rest of the half.
After intermission,
Lucas Gomes placed a shot on frame in the 52
nd minute, but it was stopped by the keeper.
Felipe Mattos kept the contest at 1-0 with a save three minutes later. At the 62:52 mark,
Rafael Kawata notched a shot on goal. In the 65
th minute, Sakiewicz's squad got on the board with an own goal by Lander, tying the contest at 1-1.
Juan Felipe Ruiz tried to give the visitors the lead at the 66:26 mark, but his shot was turned away. Ruiz's shot in the 83
rd minute missed high. USCA continued to push forward, posting shots from
Cheikh Atamao and Kawata. The keeper turned awa Kawata's shot with just 3:43 left in regulation.
For the match, USCA totaled seven shots, including four on frame. Mattos played all 90 minutes between the pipes and had four saves.
Kawata led the way with two shots on goal. Ruiz had two shots, including one on target. Gomes also placed a shot on goal.
Riad Zitouni and Atamao recorded shots in the match.
