BEAUFORT, S.C. – The USCA women's basketball team lost a 71-66 overtime decision at USC Beaufort Wednesday evening.
The Pacers are now 6-19 on the year, including 3-12 in PBC play.

Kendall Parker's 18-point effort.
Serena Baker totaled 15 points and nine rebounds.
Rhiannon Saller added 11 points and four rebounds to go along with three blocks.
Riley Simmons totaled 10 points.
Sami Bardonaro had eight markers, including six points from downtown, while
Destiny Harman and
Gracie Huffard had two points apiece.
Paris Webster grabbed nine rebounds and had a pair of assists.
Trailing 6-2, Simmons made a lay-up. A free throw by Saller pulled the visitors within one. Down 8-5, Parker canned a jumper. She then found Bardonaro up for a three-point bucket. Another basket by Bardonaro extended the margin to four, 12-8. With 32 ticks on the clock, Parker hit a pair of charity tosses for a 14-12 lead entering the second quarter.
Miller's team opened the second stanza with a Parker three-ball off a pass from Baker just 16 seconds in. A minute later, Saller found Baker for a lay-up. Holding a 23-22 advantage, Harman found Parker for an inside shot with 3:33 to go. Leading 25-24, Simmons made a pair of free throws for a 28-24 cushion. USCB rattled off an 8-0 spurt to end the half for a 32-28 lead at the break.
A free throw by Simmons and a jumper by Saller in the early going made it 32-31 at the 8:17 mark. Huffard drilled a jumper and Bardonaro canned a three-ball, tying the contest at 36-36 with 6:35 to play in the third frame. A three-ball by Simmons off a pass from Webster gave the visitors a 40-38 advantage. Parker connected with Baker for a lay-up, extending the lead to four, 42-38.
Miller's squad took a 46-44 lead on a turnaround jumper by Saller just 10 seconds into the fourth frame. Tied at 48-48, Parker hit a pair of charity tosses and found Baker for a lay-up for a 52-48 lead. The back-and-forth contest saw the Sand Sharks take a 55-54 lead before Parker drained two more free throws with 2:23 to play. Saller connected on another turnaround jumper, pushing the margin to three, 58-55, at the 1:43 mark.
USCB had a two-point advantage, 60-58, with 12 seconds to go. After a time-out, Simmons hit a shot in the lane with two ticks remaining, forcing overtime.
Down 64-61 in the extra session, Harman sliced through the defense for a lay-up. After a foul, USCB hit a pair of free throws. The Pacers missed a jumper and fouled. The Sand Sharks managed to hit two free throws for a 68-63 lead. Parker drained a three-point shot with 18 ticks on the clock, pulling the visitors within two at 68-66.
For the game, USCA hit 21-of-59 (35.6 percent) from the floor, including six-of-21 (28.6 percent) from downtown. The squad canned 18-of-28 (64.3 percent) from the charity stripe. The Pacers limited the Sand Sharks to one-of-14 from behind the three-point stripe. Miller's team pulled down 41 rebounds, including nine on the offensive glass. USCA dished out 11 assists and had 14 second chance points.
