AIKEN, S.C. – The USCA baseball team lost a 7-0 decision to Seton Hill Friday evening in the first game of the three-game series.
The Pacers are now 2-5 on the season. The Griffins stand at 1-0 on the year.

Donovan Glisson led off the second stanza with an infield single, but he was left stranded at second base.
The contest remained scoreless until the Griffins plated a pair of runs in the fourth inning for a 2-0 edge.
Trailing 7-0 in the seventh,
Hunter Thompson started the bottom of the frame with a base knock through the right side of the infield. However, Glisson grounded into a double play.
Tyler Casciato rocketed a single to center field, but a strikeout ended the frame.
For the game, Casciato, Glisson,
Jack Hobson and Thompson registered base hits. Glisson also drew a base on balls. USCA produced four hits and a walk against the Griffins.
On the mound,
Blayne Newman got the start and went four innings. He gave up two runs on three hits, but produced nine strikeouts.
Charles Herring, Jr., totaled three strikeouts in 1.2 frames.
Jared Huse tossed one-third of a frame.
Damien Ashley had a strikeout while throwing an inning.
Jacob Butler got a strikeout in the eighth.
