AIKEN, S.C. – The USCA volleyball team lost a 3-1 decision to Augusta Tuesday evening.
The Pacers are now 14-14 on the season, including 6-8 in PBC play.

Glenn Cox's team was paced by
Lexi Rogers' double-double of 12 kills and 16 digs.
Alli Bishop posted 10 kills while
Anna Sommer notched nine kills and four blocks.
Sidney Hogan tallied 21 assists and seven digs while
Madison Fox had 13 assists.
Ella Hukel posted a match-high five aces while Fox had two.
Bailey Corrigan and Hogan had one ace each.
Defensively, Rogers had 16 digs while
Kira Bostick posted 13.
Chloe Duzenack recorded 11 digs.
USCA built a 12-4 lead in the opening stanza. Holding a 5-4 edge, Bishop hammered home a kill. Hukel served up three straight aces before Bishop and Laskowski blocked an attempt. Two plays later, Rogers found the court for an eight-point margin. The Jaguars tied it at 14-14 and the squads went back-and-forth the rest of the frame. Down 23-21, Cox called a time-out. After the break, Patterson and Sommer notched back-to-back points. Trailing 24-23, Duzenack tied the contest. However, two straight points by AU allowed the visitors to take the 26-24 frame.
In the second frame, the Pacers held a 7-4 lead after Hukel produced two more aces. The Jaguars took the lead at 11-10. AU maintained the advantage at 23-18 before Duzenack garnered a kill. However, two straight points allowed the Jaguars to snag the 25-19 win.
Leading 6-5 in the third stanza, Bishop posted a kill. Fox served up an ace before Duzenack and Pearson combined for a block. Moments later, a service error by the visitors made it 11-7. Three straight miscues by AU pushed the score to 14-7. After the Jaguars made it 15-13, Sommer stopped the spurt with a kill. Up 18-15, an error by AU made it a four-point contest. Fox tallied an ace. Pearson garnered a kill and a block while Rogers slammed home two passes for the 25-15 victory.
USCA fell behind 14-8 before an error gave the Pacers a side-out. Corrigan and Sommer had a block to make it a four-point contest. However, that was as close as the team would get the rest of the way.
For the match, USCA totaled 40 kills. The squad served up nine aces, including five from Hukel. The team totaled 60 digs and had nine total blocks.
