TOCCOA FALLS, Ga. – The No. 13 USCA golf team soared into third place Monday evening at the Currahee Invitational, which is hosted by Anderson.

Michael Carlisle's team was led by
Ian Williams' spectacular day. After opening at one-under par, he posted a four-under par for the second round. Williams is fourth at five-under par, 139.
Karl Frisk is tied for 19
th at even-par, 144. He shot one-over par Monday morning before firing a one-under par, 71, during the second round of action.
Cameron Baez is tied for 21
st. He's just a stroke behind Frisk at one-over par, 145. Baez shot even-par, 72, for the second round.
Logan Leistner is tied for 39
th after shooting six-over par, 150. After recording a five-over par, 77, for the first round, he garnered a score of one-over par, 73, for round two.
Mitchell McNeill is tied for 54
th at nine-over par, 153.
Wingate leads the tournament at 16-under par, 560. Lenoir-Rhyne is second at one-under par, 575. The Pacers shot four-under par during the second round and are third at one-over par, 577. Erskine (+2) and Lincoln Memorial (+4) round out the top five teams at the 16-team event.
The Pacers return to action tomorrow for the final day of competition.
