AIKEN, S.C. –
Cassidy Wines netted her first career goal at USCA, sending the home team to a 1-0 win over Wingate Wednesday evening.
The Pacers are now 7-6-3 on the season.

Adam Kleman's team put a shot on frame at the 7:01 mark, but
Greta Ohlwein's attempt was thwarted by the keeper.
Wingate had numerous shots on goal in the first period, but
Savannah Yerger was up to the task. Her brilliant saves kept the contest scoreless entering the second period.
Two minutes into the second half, WU had a penalty kick, but it missed wide. Moments later, a curling shot by the Bulldogs was punched away by Yerger, keeping it at 0-0.
After a long punt by Yerger,
Hannah DeVincent controlled the pass. She flicked it to Wines, who rocketed a shot to the upper left of the frame for a 1-0 advantage in the 65th minute of action.
Erin Regalia recorded a shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the shot was stopped.
Yerger turned away three shots over the waning moments, preserving the shutout.
For the match, USCA had four shots, including three on frame. Yerger stopped 15 shots in the shutout.
Lexi Blasberg, Ohlwein, Regalia and Wines recorded shots in the match. Wines scored the goal while DeVincent and Yerger were credited with assists.
