AUGUSTA, Ga. – The USCA men's basketball team has been selected third in the PBC Preseason Coaches' Poll, which was released Wednesday.
Head coach
Mark Vanderslice's team received two first-place votes and 83 total points in the poll. North Georgia garnered nine first-place nods and 99 points for the top spot. USC Beaufort is second with 85 points. Augusta (68 points) was fourth while Columbus State and Lander were tied for fifth with 61 points.
USCA won the 2024-25 PBC Tournament after a second-place finish in the regular season. The program garnered an NCAA Tournament bid and advanced to the second round of the prestigious event. The Pacers wrapped up last season with a 24-9 ledger, including a 13-5 record in PBC play.
USCA opens the season Nov. 14 with a home game against UNC Pembroke at 6 p.m. Fans can purchase tickets
