Blasberg Scores At CSU

COLUMBUS, Ga. – The USCA women's soccer team lost a 9-1 decision at Columbus State Saturday afternoon.

The Pacers are now 5-6-2 on the season, including 2-4-1 in PBC action.

Head coach Adam Kleman's team was led by Lexi Blasberg's goal in the first period.

Down 2-0 10 minutes into the match, USCA managed to slice the deficit to just one at the 28:02 mark. Blasberg gained control of the ball and rocketed a shot to the lower left corner of the goal.

Six minutes later, the Cougars found the back of the net for a two-goal lead and the home squad made it 4-1 moments before halftime.

CSU netted five second half scores for the final tally.
