GREENVILLE, S.C. – The No. 19 USCA golf team is 11
th after the first day of competition at the Furman Intercollegiate.
Head coach
Michael Carlisle's team was led by
Karl Frisk's seventh-place effort. The senior stands at one-under par, 141, through the first 36 holes of the tournament. He shot one-under par, 70, for the first round and even-par, 71, Saturday afternoon.
Ian Williams is tied for 31
st after shooting three-over par, 145. He opened at one-over par before firing a two-over par for the second round of action.
Cameron Baez is tied for 42
nd after posting a score of five-over par, 147. He shot two-over par for the first round and three-over par for the second 18 holes.
Mitchell McNeill stands at seven-over par, 149. He is tied for 56
th. After shooting four-over par for round one, he notched a score of three-over par for the second round.
Jackson Beggs is 86
th after shooting 18-over par.
Campbell (-2, 566) and Stetson (-2, 566) are tied for first while Winthrop (E, 568) is third, respectively, in the 15-team field. Carlisle's team stands at 13-over par, 581.
