Double-Double For McCoy
After being named to the Bevo Francis Top 100 Watch List on Wednesday afternoon,
Jalen McCoy secured a double-double with a game-bet 25 points and game-high 12 rebounds for his third career double-double. Of the 12 rebounds, eight were on the offensive glass.
Offense And Defense
Rhyjon Blackwell did it all in the win over Georgia Southwestern. In addition to being the second-leading scorer with 20 points, he was tremendous on defense. Blackwell registered a game-best four thefts. The four steals also tied a career high effort.
Getting To The Line
Head coach
Mark Vanderslice's team got to the line 33 times in the win over the Hurricanes. The squad canned 28 attempts (84.8 percent). Overall, USCA hit more free throws than GSW attempted (25).
Simeon Secures A Double-Double
For the first time in his USCA career,
Simeon German accounted for a double-double. At No. 25 Columbus State, German rattled off 14 points and snagged 12 boards. Additionally, he had a block in 26 minutes of action. German canned all six field goal attempts.
Lucky No. 7
USCA returns home for a PBC game this week. The Pacers have won their last seven PBC regular-season contests at home, including three this season. This year in front of the home crowd, the squad bested GCSU by three, Augusta by 35 and Georgia Southwestern by nine.
Inside The Numbers
This week, USCA hosts Clayton State on Saturday, Jan. 25. Since moving to Division II, the Pacers are 243-184 (56.9 percent) in Saturday contests. During the same time, the program is 5-6 on Jan. 25.
