MORROW, Ga. – The USCA men's soccer team lost the PBC opener Wednesday by a 4-0 score at Clayton State.

The Pacers are now 2-1-2 on the season while the Lakers stand at 2-1-2.

Head coach Nick Sakiewicz's team posted eight shots in the match, including three on target. The squad earned five corner kicks compared to four by the Lakers.

Between the pipes, Felipe Mattos played all 90 minutes and stopped six shots.

Damian Rogers led the way with two shots. Sergio Aspas, Andres Caceres and Fasaikou Jammeh posted shots on goal.

Aspas registered the team's first shot of the evening, occurring at the 10:33 mark. However, his shot was stopped by the keeper. Six minutes later, Clayton State got on the board.

Down 2-0, Caceres rocketed an attempt on frame in the 42nd minute, but his shot was saved.
