TALLADEGA, Ala. – The USCA men's soccer team garnered a 2-0 victory at Talladega Saturday evening.
The Pacers are now 2-0-2 on the season.

Nick Sakiewicz's team played to a scoreless draw in the opening half. After intermission, USCA opened the scoring when
Damian Rogers found
Parks Harris for a 1-0 lead.
After Talladega's next attempt hit the crossbar, USCA regained possession and moments later, Harris' attempt was blocked. In the 58
th minute of play,
Sebastian Tascon connected with Harris for a 2-0 lead.
The Pacers tried to increase the advantage in the 66
th minute of play, but
Alvaro Corcuera's shot sailed left of the goal.
The home team drew a corner kick at the 74:41 mark, but USCA's defense was up to the task and did not allow a shot during the possession.
Rafael Kuwakino had a shot on goal at the 79:17 mark, but it was turned away.
For the match, USCA had four shots on goal compared to three by Talladega. Sakiewicz's squad had three corner kicks to just two by the Tornadoes.
In goal,
Felipe Mattos stopped all three shots he faced for the shutout.
