Sizzling Against The Saints
It seemed as if head coach
Mark Vanderslice's team could not miss at Flagler. The Pacers buried an astounding 40-of-60 from the floor (66.7 percent). The team hit shots from everywhere in the game – draining 14-of-23 from the three-point line (60.9 percent) and eight-of-10 (80.0 percent) from the charity stripe. Â
Two Over 20
In the road win against Flagler, USC Aiken had a pair of Pacers register at least 20 points.
Tehree Horn accounted for a game-best 27 points on 11-of-13 shooting from the floor while
Tyler Johnson canned nine-of-17 shots from the field for 23 points.Â
Extra Periods
Last week, USC Aiken played a double-overtime contest against Augusta. It marked the second game that the Pacers played extra time in this season. It also marked the first double-overtime contest for USC Aiken since a 98-93 victory at Georgia Southwestern on Jan. 15, 2022.
Five In Double Figures
Head coach
Mark Vanderslice's team placed five student-athletes in double figures against Augusta.
Tehree Horn led the way with a team-high 24 points while
Simeon German tallied 18 markers.
Tyler Johnson netted 17 points while
Jameel Rideout and
Rhyjon Blackwell added 16 and 11 points, respectively.
