Another Shining Moment

In the win over previously undefeated Livingstone, head coach Mark Vanderslice's team secured 31 points from redshirt-senior Jalen McCoy on 13-of-20 shooting from the floor. McCoy's 31-point effort marked his second over 30 points this season (34 in the win at UNC Pembroke). McCoy has notched at least 20 points in five games.

Byrd Is The Word

Caleb Byrd provided a double-digit effort off the bench in the win over the Blue Bears. Byrd played 20 minutes and drained four-of-six from the floor, in addition to canning his lone free throw. Byrd accounted for 10 of the team's 25 points off the bench.

Stealing Isn't A Crime

Rafael Rubel turned in a solid performance in the victory over Livingstone. Of the Pacers' 10 steals, Rubel accounted for five of them. That marked a game-high effort as well as a season-best effort for the standout guard.

Sharing Is Caring

USCA dished out 10 assists in the victory over Livingstone. The Pacers had five student-athletes register at least one assist. Davion Cunningham distributed a game-high four assists, accounting for 40 percent of the team's assists.

Cunningham And Blackwell Notch Huge Games

In the PBC opener at Lander, Davion Cunningham and Rhyjon Blackwell combined for 52 points. The two combined to shoot 18-of-35 from the floor, six-for-17 from the three-point stripe and 10-of-12 from the charity stripe.

This week, USCA hosts Fayetteville State on Saturday, Dec. 14. Since moving to Division II, the Pacers are 241-183 (56.8 percent) in Saturday games. During the same time, the program is 3-2 on Dec. 14.

Against The Opponent

This week, USCA hosts Fayetteville State on Saturday, Dec. 14. The Pacers trail the all-time series to the Broncos 4-1. This marks the third time the teams have played in Aiken, S.C. The Pacers won a 75-68 contest in 2021. The only other time the squads met in Aiken, S.C., FSU recorded a 79-71 win in 1998.
