Up 13-11 in the third set, a miscue by FMU and a block from Bishop and Araczki pushed the score to 15-11. A kill from Lammers extended the lead to six, 19-13. After a miscue by the home team, the Pacers extended their advantage to seven. With the score at 23-18, Cox's group saw the home team knot the score at 23-23. However, Duzenack answered with a kill.
