DAHLONEGA, Ga. – The USCA men's soccer team played North Georgia to a scoreless draw Wednesday evening in a PBC contest.
The Pacers are now 3-4-3 on the year, including 0-4-1 in PBC play.

Nick Sakiewicz's team rattled off a shot in the 27
th minute as
Panashe Makokowe narrowly missed to the left of the frame. After a shot by
Jose Rabadan,
Lucas Gomes' shot on frame was stopped in the 29
th minute of action. Four minutes later, the Pacers stayed in the offensive third of the pitch and Rabadan produced a shot on goal that was saved.
USCA remained in possession as
Kadin DeMesme fired a shot at the 33:28 mark. Five minutes later,
Andres Caceres' attempt was thwarted by the keeper as the contest remained scoreless entering the second period.
Felipe Mattos was tested early in the second stanza, stopping three attempts in the first four minutes of action. After his third save, USCA worked the ball down the pitch and it resulted in shots from DeMesme and
Parks Harris, but neither were on goal.
Mattos was huge in the final two minutes, thwarting a pair of attempts by the Nighthawks. With only 48 seconds to play, Parks' shot on goal was stopped.
For the match, each team totaled 14 shots. USCA had four on goal while the Nighthawks placed six on frame. Sakiewicz's team earned three corner kicks.
Rabadan totaled six shots, including one on goal. Caceres and Harris had two shots apiece, with one being on frame. Gomes recorded the other shot on target. DeMesme tallied two attempts in the match while Makokowe recorded a shot.
In goal, Mattos played all 90 minutes and registered six saves.
