AIKEN, S.C. – The USCA women's soccer team lost a 2-0 decision to Georgia Southwestern Saturday afternoon.
The Pacers are now 2-7-2 on the year, including a 1-3 mark in PBC play. The Hurricanes stand at 4-5 overall and 2-2 in league action.

Adam Kleman's team narrowly missed out on taking a 1-0 lead in the 19
th minute when
Gillian Young blasted an attempt that hit the crossbar.
Kaydence Moore kept the visitors off the board with a brilliant save in the 40
th minute of play. A minute later,
Olivia Pall's shot was saved.
Each team placed a shot on goal in the final three minutes of action in the first half, but the keepers managed to register saves as the teams entered halftime scoreless.
Patyon Bates tallied a shot on frame in the 55
th minute of play but it was stopped. Two minutes later, the Hurricanes got on the board for a 1-0 lead.
After Kleman's team went on the offensive and put up three solid shots, the home squad managed to earn a penalty kick after a foul in the box at the 77:32 mark. The GSW keeper made the stop on the penalty kick, keeping it at 1-0.
The visitors pushed the margin to 2-0 with just over six minutes to play.
For the match, USCA tallied 12 shots, including nine on goal. The squad garnered a corner kick in the loss.
Bates led the way with two shots on frame.
In goal, Moore played all 90 minutes and had three saves.
