AIKEN, S.C. – The University of South Carolina Aiken, in conjunction with head men's basketball coach Mark Vanderslice, is pleased to announce the 2023-24 schedule.

"I am thrilled about the schedule that we have for this year," Vanderslice said. "We want to equip our program and players with the tools necessary to be prepared for conference play. Our diverse schedule of opponents this year provides us for just that. The Peach Belt Conference will be as strong as ever and our non-conference foes should allow us to become battle tested."

Sixteen home games highlight the slate.

Fresh off a Sweet 16 appearance, the Pacers open the year Friday, Nov. 10 at Erskine. The Pacers open the first of a four-game home stretch against UNC Pembroke on Sunday, Nov. 12 followed by Tusculum on Wednesday, Nov. 15. Vanderslice's squad hosts Limestone (Nov. 18) and Barton (Nov. 21). The team wraps up the month of November at Emmanuel Nov. 29.

The Pacers host Claflin on Dec. 2 before hitting the road a week later for a contest at St. Augustine's (Nov. 9). Prior to a holiday break, USC Aiken invites former PBC foe Francis Marion to the Convocation Center (Dec. 16). 

Vanderslice's team hosts Southern Wesleyan on Dec. 30 before entering PBC competition Jan. 3 at Lander. After a game at Georgia College & State (Jan. 6), the squad hosts Flagler Jan. 10.

USC Aiken makes the short trek to Augusta on Jan. 13 prior to playing at Georgia Southwestern four days later. The Pacers host Columbus State on Jan. 20 before hitting the road for games at USC Beaufort (Jan. 24) and Clayton State (Jan. 27). 

The defending PBC regular-season champions host North Georgia (Jan. 31) and Georgia College & State (Feb. 3). The team hits the road for a game at Flagler Feb. 7 prior to hosting the Jaguars (Feb. 10) and Hurricanes (Feb. 14). 

A road trip to Columbus State Feb. 17 is followed by home contests against USC Beaufort (Feb. 21) and Clayton State (Feb. 24). The Pacers play at North Georgia Feb. 28 before wrapping up the regular season at home against Lander March 2 with a special 7:30 p.m., start time.

USC Aiken begins postseason play March 6 with the PBC Tournament.
