AIKEN, S.C. – The University of South Carolina Aiken men's soccer team lost a 3-0 decision in the PBC opener to Flagler Wednesday afternoon.
The Pacers are now 0-3-1 on the season, including 0-1 in league play. The Saints are now 1-2-1 overall and 1-0 in the PBC.

Ike Ofoje's team nearly got on the board in the fourth minute of play when
Jose Rabadan rocketed a shot but it sailed to the right of the frame. The Pacers continued pushing forward, registering another shot before three straight corner kicks.
Lucas Pegorer blasted an attempt at the 14:49 mark but it missed to the left of the goal.
The Saints broke through with a goal just 20:03 into the match.
Cason Donahue kept the score at 1-0 after turning away Flagler on a pair of shots.
Pushing forward late in the opening half,
Fabian Avila's shot was blocked in the 42
nd minute of play as the score remained 1-0 at the break.
USC Aiken earned a corner kick in the 55
th minute but the squad was unable to put a shot on frame. The Saints pushed the score to 2-0 in the 61
st minute of action.
With only 15 minutes left to play, the teams were forced off the field due to a lightning delay. Following the stoppage in play, Flagler made it 3-0 with a shot from 12 yards out.
Another lightning strike with just under nine minutes to play forced a delay. During the stoppage, it was decided to call the match.
For the contest, Rabadan and
Wynston Johnson had two shots apiece. Avila and Pegorer each had one attempt.
In goal, Donahue stopped three shots.
