NORMAN, Okla. – Four University of South Carolina Aiken student-athletes have been named Srixon/Cleveland Golf All-America Scholars, as announced by the GCAA.

Leonardo Bono,
Erik Olin and
Jonah Winter recently picked up the accolades.
To be eligible for GCAA All-America Scholar nomination, an individual must be a sophomore, junior or senior both academically and athletically in NCAA Division I, II, III, and NAIA, or receiving their Associate's Degree and in their last year of athletic eligibility in the NJCAA. In addition, they must participate in 50% of their team's competitive rounds, have a stroke average under 76.0 in NCAA Division I, under 78.0 in NCAA Division II, under 79.0 in NCAA Division III, under 78.0 in NAIA, and under 77.0 in NJCAA, and maintain a minimum cumulative career grade-point average of 3.2. A recipient must also be of high moral character and be in good standing at their college or university.
214 NCAA Division II athletes from 80 schools earned 2022-23 GCAA All-America Scholar honors.
Abrahamsson, a native of Gothenburg, Sweden, notched a stroke average of 74.0 and had eight rounds of par or better on the season.
Bono, a native of Rivera, Switzerland, was second on the team with a 72.8 stroke average. He accounted for two top-five finishes and a top-10 effort.
Olin, a native of Falsterbo, Sweden, led the team with a 72.4 stroke average. He tallied two top-five finishes and a top-10 mark for the season while shooting par or better a team-best 13 times.
Winter, a native of Sarasota, Fla., accounted for a 74.3 stroke average. He had a top-10 effort and shot par or better three times.
