AIKEN, S.C. – University of South Carolina Aiken Assistant Athletic Director Brandon Aiken is pleased to announce the addition of Lexi Stark as an assistant athletic trainer.
"We are excited to have Lexi join our staff," Aiken said. "She brings a fresh perspective to student-athlete care and valued knowledge and skills that will improve the overall athlete health and well-being."
Stark comes to USC Aiken after wrapping up her clinical experience with the softball team at the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire. She also has previous clinical experience with the Wisconsin Eau Claire football team and the men's and women's ice hockey teams at the University of Minnesota Duluth.
Additionally, Stark worked with Synapse Physical Therapy. While there, she assisted with post-surgical rehabilitation plan creation and execution for Division I hockey and soccer players returning from shoulder and ACL-R injuries.
Stark holds a degree in exercise science from Wisconsin Eau Claire as well as a Masters of Science in Athletic Training.
She has volunteered as a medical spotter at the USA Rugby World Cup Qualifier match and has performed on-mat injury evaluations and wound care during the NCAA Division III Don Parker Wrestling Open.
Stark is a board certified athletic trainer. She holds certifications from the American Red Cross and is a member of NATA.
