AMERICUS, Ga. – University of South Carolina Aiken baseball standout
Joel Haney has been named to the PBC all-tournament team, as announced by the league office.
Haney, a native of Rock Hill, S.C., had an outstanding start in the PBC Tournament.
He got the starting nod in the second game of the PBC Tournament. Against second-seeded Young Harris, Haney recorded a complete-game victory.
In nine innings of work, he struck out six batters while walking just three. Haney allowed just six hits and did not allow an earned run in the 3-2 victory.
Haney threw a career-high 142 pitches in the win. His gem sent USC Aiken to the PBC Semifinals.
