EATONTON, Ga. – University of South Carolina Aiken golf standout Leonardo Bono earned a fifth-place finish at the Bobcat Invitational Tuesday afternoon.

Bono led the team with his one-under par, 139, for the two-round event. He posted an opening-round 70 before firing a one-under par, 69, over the final 18 holes of play.

Rory McDonald O'Brien took 15^th after notching a one-under par, 69, on Tuesday. He shot three-over par, 143, for the tournament.

Oscar Abrahamsson finished 46^th (149) while Jonah Winter and Erik Olin were 61^st and 72^nd, respectively.

Head coach Michael Carlisle's team tied for ninth at the tournament after shooting 24-over par, 584, for the event.

Georgia Southwestern won the tournament after shooting four-over par, 564. West Florida (567) and North Georgia (569) rounded out the top three schools in the 15-team field. 

The Pacers return to action for the last regular-season tournament Apr. 3-4 at the Wofford Invitational.
