AIKEN, S.C. – The University of South Carolina Aiken golf team is set for the upcoming Bobcat Invitational, which is hosted by Georgia College & State.

The event will be held at the Golf Club at Cuscowilla in Eatonton, Ga., and will take place March 20-21. This marks the 17^th time the tournament has been held.

Head coach Michael Carlisle's teams have won the event twice (2014, 2018). Lynn leads the way with six Bobcat Invitational titles while Barry and GCSU have each won twice.

The Pacers' Axel Östensson is the program's lone individual champion at the Bobcat Invitational after posting a four-under par, 206 in 2015. 

USC Aiken's team will consist of Oscar Abrahamsson, Leonardo Bono, Rory McDonald O'Brien, Erik Olin and Jonah Winter.

Olin leads the team with a 72.0 stroke average. He has played in six tournaments and has a low round of 68. Olin has two top-10 finishes, including a top-five effort. His best effort came at the Irish Creek Invitational when his three-under par, 210, was good enough for third place. 

Bono is second on the team with a 73.0 stroke average. Having played in seven tournaments, Bono has a top-five finish and his low round of the season is 70. Bono's top finish came at the Wexford Intercollegiate where he placed second at two-under par, 214. 

Winter sports a 74.0 stroke average after four tournaments of play. His low round of 67 marks the best effort this season by a Pacer. He has a top-10 effort to his credit. Winter's best finish came at the Spring Bulldog Clash. He shot one-over par, 211, to take 10^th at the event. 

Abrahamsson has a 74.1 stroke average and has played in eight tournaments. He has a low round of 69 and has shot par or better five times. Abrahamsson's best finish on the season was a 19th-place effort at the UNG Mizuno Intercollegiate. 

McDonald O'Brien has seen time in five events and carries a 74.5 stroke average. He has a low round of 69 and has shot par or better twice. McDonald O'Brien's best finish was a 23^rd-place effort at the Spring Bulldog Clash.
