Leading 2-1, Sharp beat out a high-bouncing ball to the pitcher for a single and moved to second on an error on the catcher. Sharp scored on Hannon's base hit to left field. Moments later, Mozingo hit a pitch back up the middle, plating Hannon.
USC Aiken broke open the game in the fourth.
Tai Gilbert led off the frame with a base hit and he promptly stole second and third. Gilbert scored when Eckert singled down the right field line. Eckert moved to second on a fielding error and quickly stole third. Sharp's fielder's choice allowed Eckert to cross home plate for a 6-1 lead. Mozingo's single to shortstop plated Sharp for a six-run edge.
