Each week, the University of South Carolina Aiken will produce weekly notes. This week, USC Aiken plays at Georgia College & State on Wednesday, Feb. 8 before making the trip to Flagler on Saturday, Feb. 11. 

Double-Double

Rookie Karon Boyd is playing extremely well. In the contest against Columbus State, Boyd registered a double-double. He accounted for a team-high 18 points and snagged a game-best 13 rebounds. From the floor, Boyd buried six-of-11, including three-of-six from distance.

The Real McCoy

Always a solid player, Jalen McCoy has found his stride coming off the bench. He gives the team a spark and a solid scorer who can do it all. Against Lander, McCoy came off the bench and played 29 minutes while scoring 20 points. He hit eight-of-15 from the floor. McCoy also pulled down three boards and swatted a game-best two shots. 

Samba's Snagging The Boards

Last week, Samba Ndiyae was extremely aggressive when going after the rebound. Against CSU, Ndiyae pulled down a season-high eight rebounds. He also snagged a team-high seven boards against Lander. 

Inside The Numbers

This week, USC Aiken plays at Georgia College & State on Wednesday, Feb. 8 before making the trek to Flagler on Saturday, Feb. 11. Since moving to Division II, the Pacers are 137-134 (50.6 percent) in Wednesday games and 225-178 (55.8 percent) in Saturday contests. During the same time, the squad is 5-4 on Feb. 8 and 4-5 on Feb. 11.

Against The Opponents

This week, USC Aiken plays at Georgia College & State on Wednesday, Feb. 8 before making the trek to Flagler on Saturday, Feb. 11. GCSU leads the all-time series 32-26 while the Pacers maintain a 22-7 edge in the series against the Saints.
