AIKEN, S.C. – The University of South Carolina Aiken volleyball team earned an at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament, which was announced Monday evening.

Head coach Glenn Cox's team sports a 16-10 record and garnered the No. 5 seed in the upcoming NCAA Southeast Region Tournament.

The Pacers will take on No. 4 Anderson in the first round. The Trojans are 25-5 on the season and finished SAC play with a 16-2 ledger.

USC Aiken is 5-1 in the all-time series against Anderson. The Pacers swept the Trojans in 2002 and 2007 before AU took a 3-2 victory in 2010. Cox's team has notched three consecutive wins in the series, besting the Trojans in 2011, 2014 and 2017.  

Wingate is the No. 1 seed while Augusta and Lander are the top three seeds in the tournament. 

Emmanuel is the No. 6 seed while Tusculum and Lenoir-Rhyne are the No. 7 and No. 8 seeds, respectively.

The Bulldogs will take on the Bears while the PBC Champion Jaguars square off against the Conference Carolinas Champion Lions. The other match-up will be when the Bearcats take on the SAC Champion Pioneers.
