CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The University of South Carolina Aiken men's cross country team took 18
th at the Royals XC Challenge Friday afternoon.
Milligan won the event while Georgia College & State and Mount Olive rounded out the top spots teams in the 24-team field.
Head coach
Marshall Leonard's team was led by
Julio Rojas' team-best time of 28:13.91 in the 8k event. His time allowed him to take 32nd.
Riley Campbell turned in a time of 30:15.70, which was good enough for 91
st place. Teammate
Julian Mendoza put together a mark of 32:00.94. He crossed the finish line in 134
th place.
Julian Salas garnered a time of 34:18.63. His effort was good for 172
nd at the meet.
Elkana Kipchumba's time of 34:29.16 allowed him to cross the line in 174
th place.
The Pacers return to action Saturday, Oct. 21, at the PBC Championship.
