AUGUSTA, Ga. – The University of South Carolina Aiken volleyball team lost a 3-2 decision at Augusta Saturday afternoon.
The Pacers are now 10-6 on the season, including 1-4 in league play.
Head coach
Glenn Cox's team was led by
Emily Lammers and
Sadie McKay as each had 16 kills.
Mallory Barash dished out 23 assists while
Caroline Foster accounted for 18 assists.
Foster, Lammers and McKay garnered double-double efforts. Lammers registered 15 digs. Foster posted 14 digs as did McKay.
Defensively,
Kari Mercer led everyone with 22 digs.
At the net, Brooke Wrote stuffed five shots while
Anna Sommer blocked three.
The Pacers return to action Saturday when they play a pair of matches at league foe Young Harris. The contests are slated to be played at 2 p.m., and 5 p.m. Live stats and video will be available at PacerSports.com.
