ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. – The University of South Carolina Aiken women's soccer team lost a hard-fought 3-1 contest at Flagler Wednesday afternoon.
The Pacers are now 2-1-2 on the year, including 0-1-1 in league play.
The No. 23 Saints got on the board at the 12:14 mark. The home team added its second goal in the 21
st minute of action.

Tina Murphy's defense stood strong the rest of the half as the contest was 2-0 at the break.
Only 1:17 into the second stanza,
Jasiah Pack rocketed a shot to the lower left of the goal that was stopped, keeping the match at 2-0.
Megan Gettys took a free kick from 25 yards out that was saved by the keeper. Off the rebound,
Caroline Czarnecki registered a goal off the touch into the lower left of the frame, making it 2-1 at the 61:42 mark. Gettys was credited with an assist on the play.
Flagler added a goal in the 70
th minute for the final tally.
For the match, USC Aiken posted four shots – all of which were on goal.
Kaydence Moore registered two saves in the 28 minutes of work while
Caitlin Thomason played the final 62 minutes and notched a pair of saves.
