MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – The University of South Carolina Aiken baseball team recorded a 4-1 victory in the first game of the best-of-three series in the PBC Tournament at No. 2 Georgia College Saturday afternoon.
The Pacers are now 21-27 on the season. The Bobcats fall to 30-18.

Michael Holder's team jumped on the board in the second inning. With two down,
Dalton Graves ripped a single to left center field.
Scott Huntley blasted a two-run home run over the right field fence, giving the visitors a 2-0 edge.
USC Aiken added to the margin in the third stanza.
Sean McQuillan singled to right field. With one down,
Jackson Hannon tagged a pitch and found himself on first with a single through the left side of the infield.
Hannon and McQuillan each stole a base. While stealing third, there was an error on the play that allowed McQuillan to race home for a 3-0 edge.
Georgia College plated a run in the bottom of the sixth to make it 3-1.
Holder's team quickly got the run back. In the top of the eighth, Hannon reached on a throwing error and promptly swiped second base.
Nick Tripp's base hit put runners on the corners.
Josh Sharp reached on a fielder's choice, which drove in Hannon for a 4-1 margin.
Joel Haney (7-4) got the starting nod and worked six innings. He struck out one and gave up just one run on five hits to pick up the win.
Louie Smith tossed the final three innings and had three strikeouts to pick up the save.
For the game, McQuillan led the way with three hits. Graves and Hannon tallied two hits apiece. Huntley drove in a pair of runs in the win.
