AMERICUS, Ga. – The University of South Carolina Aiken baseball team lost a 13-3 decision at Georgia Southwestern Friday evening.
The Pacers are now 6-9 overall while the Hurricanes improve to 5-11.

Sean McQuillan laid down a sacrifice bunt and move to second on
Jackson Hannon's base hit.
Jeff Cyr doubled home McQuillan before
Nick Tripp's base knock plated Hannon.
Josh Sharp followed him up with a base hit to left field to drive in Cyr.
USC Aiken loaded the bases as
Kaden Blankenship singled but back-to-back outs ended the threat.
The Hurricanes scored three runs in the bottom of the sixth to make it 7-3.
The Pacers were unable to plate a run in the seventh and GSW managed to score six runs to end the game at 13-3.
For the game, Blankenship, Cyr, Hannon, McQuillan, Sharp and Tripp all had base hits. Cyr, Sharp and Tripp each drove in one while Cyr, Hannon and McQuillan crossed home plate.
Hunter Steger took the loss.
Peyton Boozer,
Austin Hohm,
Adam Krissinger and
Evan Condon all saw time on the mound. Boozer struck out four batters while Steger and Krissinger had one strikeout apiece.
