AUGUSTA, Ga. – University of South Carolina Aiken men's basketball standouts
Tehree Horn and
David Strother have been named to the all-conference team, as announced by the Peach Belt Conference.
Both were named to the second team while leading the Pacers to a 17-12 ledger and a fourth-place finish in the PBC.
Horn, a sophomore from Toledo, Ohio, led the team in scoring at a 15.7 clip. He hit 51.3 percent of his shots from the floor, including 42.0 percent from downtown (47-of-112). Horn canned 54-of-60 free throw attempts (90.0 percent) while pulling down 5.3 rebounds per game.
He poured in a career-high 30 points in the home win over Clayton State. Horn played a career-best 46 minutes in the double-overtime victory over Georgia Southwestern. His five three-point field goals in the win over Fayetteville State marked a season-high effort. Horn pulled down 10 rebounds at Columbus State and registered a season-high three steals at Clayton State.
Strother, a graduate student from Lumberton, N.C., distributed a team-high 105 assists on the season. He was second on the team by averaging 14.0 points per game. Strother drained 43.4 percent of his shots from the floor and connected on 36 three-point attempts. He led the team with 44 steals and pulled down 3.9 boards a contest.
Strother poured in a career-high 29 points in the win over North Georgia. He played a career-high 44 minutes in the double-overtime victory over Georgia Southwestern. Strother snagged a season-best nine boards against Columbus State and distributed a season-high nine assists in the win at Young Harris. He also posted a season-high five steals at Georgia College.
