GREENWOOD, S.C. – The University of South Carolina Aiken women's basketball team lost an 83-39 game at No. 7 Lander Saturday afternoon.
The Pacers are now 7-12 overall and 3-8 in league play.
Head coach
Mark Miller's team was led by
Grace Crawford's eight points.
Allycia Harris added seven points and seven rebounds.
Sarah Perez and
Yasmine Fairchild had six points apiece.
Delaney Trushel and
Chidinma Okafor each posted four points. Okafor snagged five boards while she and
Delaney Trushel had two blocks apiece.
Emily Trushel and
Madison Williams each accounted for two points.
USC Aiken hit 14-of-45 from the floor (31.1 percent), including three-of-12 from downtown. The squad hit eight-of-12 from the charity stripe (66.7 percent).
Miller's team pulled down 32 rebounds, including 10 on the offensive glass. The 10 offensive boards led to eight second-chance points.
