Each week, the University of South Carolina Aiken will produce notes. This week, USC Aiken will travel to Barton for its lone contest. 

Horn Leads The Way

Tehree Horn had a solid all-around game in the victory over Clayton State. Horn played 34 minutes and drained nine-of-15 from the floor, including one-of-two from deep. He also canned all six free throws he attempted. Horn tallied 25 points, had six rebounds, registered two blocks and a steal.   

Sixth Man Impact

Jalen McCoy came off the bench and saw 19 minutes of action in the win over Clayton State. McCoy had a big impact on the outcome, connecting on six-of-13 from the floor for 12 points while registering five rebounds. 

Nearly 50 Percent 

In the PBC opener, head coach Mark Vanderslice's team nearly drained 50 percent of its shots from the floor. The squad buried 32-of-67 from the field (47.8 percent). The Pacers connected on 18-of-34 from the floor in the first half (52.9 percent) while netting 14-of-33 from the floor in the second period of play (42.4 percent). 

Tyler's Terrific Game

Tyler Johnson turned in a stellar performance in the victory at Georgia Southwestern. He accounted for 16 points, nine rebounds and garnered three steals en route to the double-digit victory. His solid game helped the Pacers move to 2-0 in the PBC.  

Inside The Numbers

This week, USC Aiken plays at Barton on Thursday, Dec. 15. Since moving to Division II, the Pacers are 25-19 (56.8 percent) in Thursday games. During the same time, the team is 4-4 on Dec. 15. 

Against The Opponent

This week, USC Aiken plays at Barton on Thursday, Dec. 15. The Pacers lead the all-time series against the Bulldogs 3-1, but Barton won the last outing on Nov. 14, 2015 86-77.
