Each week, the University of South Carolina Aiken will produce notes. This week, USC Aiken hosts Coker on Wednesday before playing at Fayetteville State on Saturday. 

Over 80 Points

During the last four games, USC Aiken is averaging 83.5 points a game. The team has hit at least 82 points in every game while registering a high of 86 (at Limestone). In fact, in five of the team's six games this season, head coach Mark Vanderslice's team has reached the 80-point plateau.

Four Straight

USC Aiken has reeled off four consecutive victories after starting 0-2. The Pacers are 2-0 at home for the season (and during the last four outings) while improving to 2-1 on the road with wins at Limestone and Southern Wesleyan.

Returning Home

After being on the road the last two games – at Limestone and at Southern Wesleyan – the Pacers return home for a single game against Coker. The Pacers are averaging 82.5 points per game in the Convocation Center while giving up 58 points a contest. The squad picked up wins over Anderson and Coastal Georgia.  

Stepping Up

Head coach Mark Vanderslice's team has a preseason all-conference honoree in Tehree Horn on the team. However, in each of the four wins, the Pacers have had different student-athletes that have stepped up for a total team effort. Horn, Tyler Johnson and Karon Boyd notched double figures against Anderson. Horn and Johnson reached double digits against Coastal Georgia while Boyd, DeShawn Thomas, Jalen McCoy and Horn reached double figures against the Saints. Christopher Brown, Horn, Johnson and McCoy netted double digits against the Warriors.

Inside The Numbers

This week, USC Aiken hosts Coker on Wednesday, Nov. 30 before playing at Fayetteville State on Saturday, Dec. 3. Since moving to Division II, the Pacers are 132-133 (49.8 percent) in Wednesday games and 221-174 (55.9 percent) in Saturday contests. During the same time, the squad is 2-6 on Nov. 30 and 8-1 on Dec. 3. 

Against The Opponents

This week, USC Aiken hosts Coker on Wednesday, Nov. 30 before playing at Fayetteville State on Saturday, Dec. 3. The Pacers are 10-2 in the all-time series against the Cobras, having won the last five contests. USC Aiken is 1-2 against FSU in the all-time series, having won a year ago. Previously, the Pacers had not squared off with FSU since 1998.
