MORROW, Ga. – The University of South Carolina Aiken men's soccer team lost a 4-0 decision at Clayton State Wednesday afternoon in a league contest.
The Pacers are now 1-3 on the year and 0-1 in PBC play. Clayton State improves to 2-3-1 overall and 1-0 against conference competition.

Ike Ofoje's team registered four shots on goal in the contest. The duo between the pipes stopped 11 shots. USC Aiken tallied a pair of corner kicks as well.
Lucas Pegorer registered a pair of shots on goal.
Davide Panucci accounted for two shots on goal.
Yannis Wome garnered a shot on goal while Aberlado Rodriguez and
Pablo Corcuera each had a shot in the match.
Ofoje's squad applied pressure quickly, earning a corner kick at the 3:37 mark of the first half. Seconds later, Panucci's shot was blocked. At the 3:58 mark, Panucci's shot was saved by the keeper.
At the 12:24 mark, Rodriguez booted a shot that sailed just wide of the frame. Yome's attempt at the 34:11 mark was low and to the center of the frame, but it was stopped.
Trailing 1-0 at the break, Ofoje's team continued applying pressure in the offensive third of the pitch. Corcuera accounted for a shot in the 53
rd minute that narrowly missed to the right. Pegorer's attempt at the 59:31 mark was saved, keeping it at 1-0.
Felipe Cerda played 69 minutes between the pipes and had seven saves.
Joey Valenti notched four saves in 21 minutes of play.
The Pacers return to action Saturday when they host Georgia Southwestern at 7:30 p.m.
