AIKEN, S.C. – The University of South Carolina Aiken volleyball team lost a 3-0 decision to Augusta University Tuesday evening.

The Pacers are now 7-4 on the season.

Head coach Glenn Cox's team was led by Alie Smith's match-high 12 kills. Sydney Bresee and Kaitlyn Rodriguez posted five kills apiece.

Caroline Foster distributed 26 assists.

Defensively, Kari Mercer posted a match-best 17 digs. Emiy Duggan tallied nine digs while Smith chipped in seven.

At the net, Bresee, Foster, Anita Cookey-Gam and Alisha Pitt all had a block.

The Pacers return to action Friday when they host Young Harris at 6 p.m.
