AIKEN, S.C. – The University of South Carolina Aiken volleyball team rolled to a 3-0 victory over Young Harris Friday afternoon.
The Pacers are now 8-4 on the season.

Kaitlyn Rodriguez's 10 kills.
Sophie Meredith had 23 assists while
Kari Mercer tallied 11 digs.
Alie Smith accounted for eight kills.
Alisha Pitt notched six kills and seven blocks while
Sydney Bresee posted six kills.
In the first set USC Aiken jumped out to a 4-1 lead and never looked back. The Pacers extended the margin to 11 when Foster found Smith for a kill. The Pacers led 22-9 after an ace from Bresee and an error by the visitors en route to the 25-16 win.
After the second set was tied at 1-1, USC Aiken embarked on a 12-0 spurt with Meredith serving. During the run,
Cat Bodick had a pair of kills and was in on a couple blocks with
Alisha Pitt. The Pacers extended the lead to 20-4 after a block from Bresee. The Pacers led 24-9 before
Kaitlyn Rodriguez found
Sophie Meredith for the set-winning point.
Trailing 7-3 in the third set, USC Aiken stormed back, embarking on a 16-4 run that ended with a pair of Rodriguez kills and a block from Pitt and
Anita Cookey-Gam. The home squad finished off the visitors with a kill from Pitt at 25-14.
The Pacers return to action Tuesday when they host Lander at 6 p.m.
