SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The University of South Carolina Aiken men's soccer team lost a 4-2 contest at Converse Saturday evening.
The Pacers are now 1-11 on the season.

Ike Ofoje's team registered five shots in the first half, but was unable to convert on any attempt.
Wynston Johnson nearly got the visitors on board in the 13
th inute but his shot to the upper right of the frame was saved.
Yannis Wome's shot a minute later was also stopped by the keeper. Wome accounted for the team's third shot on goal in the 19
th minute, but the attempt was corralled by the goalkeeper.
Converse managed to register a pair of first-half goals, taking a 2-0 lead into intermission.
Down 3-0 in the second half, Ofoje's squad responded with a goal from
Uri-Malcolm Young. He found the back of the goal off a shot that was sent to the upper left at the 61:06 mark for the visitors.
Fabian Avila was credited with the assist on the play.
Wome dished out an assist in the 75
th minute as Johnson blasted a shot to the upper fright that got past the keeper, pulling the Pacers within one at 3-2.
Converse kept USC Aiken from equalizing the score. The home squad tacked on an insurance goal to make it 4-2 in the 86
th minute of play.
For the match, Ofoje's squad posted 11 shots, including eight on goal. Each team accounted for three corner kicks.
Felipe Cerda played all 90 minutes in goal and stopped seven shots.
